Full-time Sales Assistant / Trainee Manager (Victoria Park Village)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive new team member, with proven experience working in a busy retail environment, for our Victoria Park shop. They should be able to develop strong relationships with our loyal customers, have a professional attitude, commercial awareness and a keen attention to detail. This should be alongside a good base knowledge of key wine regions and styles, and a hunger to learn (and taste!) more.

At Bottle Apostle we offer regular training and tasting both in-house and with our suppliers, as well as company trips to vineyards across Europe. As a small company, we like to draw on team members’ strengths, so there is scope to develop and be promoted within the business.

Key Requirements:

An energetic team player who is eager to jump in and develop their passion for wine
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Well organised with an attention to detail
WSET level 2 required
Previous retail experience
Availability to work during evenings and weekends is essential
Ability to repeatedly lift 20kg
