Very possibly the most heavily-peated whisky ever created in England, the English Whisky Co. having learnt first-hand how to create the style from a former head distiller at Laphroaig. Aged ten years in ex-American oak, its elementary flavours are amped up with lemon, brine, vegetal peat stealing the show on the nose through to a splendidly smoky finish, but without masking the spirit's signature maltiness.
