Aglianico del Vulture DOC 'Pipoli'
Vigneti del Vulture
Grown high up on the extinct volcano Monte Vulture (up to 800m), almost equidistant from Naples and Bari. It's grippy and reasonably solid, with a lovely sense of darkness, but also a flourish of bright fruit on the finish. A little floral, light oak notes but very much in harmony.
