Kirschenmann Vineyard Lodi Zinfandel

From a 104-year-old, ungrafted, sandy vineyard in Lodi, near the delta of the Mokelumne River, which has a marked cooling effect. Owned by Turley's head winemaker, this has a special place in the line up, and offers a refined, poised look at Lodi, with copious dark fruit, and some restraint. And despite its alcohol it shows balance and nicely sophisticated tannin and texture. |O|
