The second wine of Domaine de Chevalier in Graves, L'Esprit is a great introduction to Olivier Bernard's house style. Made from young vines of equal part Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a splash of Petit Verdot, this wine holds rich notes of blackberry, dark cherry, dried tobacco leaf, and layers of baking spices on the finish.
