Saint-Amour 'Tete de Bonnet'

Domaine de Boischampt had a revamp in 2018, bringing in top Burgundy winemaker Thibaud Baudin to make the most of their blue stone vineyards.  The Saint-Amour offers ripe red fruit on the nose, then a silky, brambly richness on the palate.  Unfined, unfiltered and only a little SO2 at bottling.  Impressive complexity.  |nc|
